Maybe then years ago Donna Campbell asked me to make aprons for her sisters to use when they gather every year to make fruit cake. She had a family quilt she wanted me to use in the aprons, which I did. Every apron was different. And now there is a story about fruit cakes that she wrote including several pictures of the aprons. My favorite one shows all the ties hanging down.
